THE SWEETER DISCOVERY — No. 03

THE SWEETER DISCOVERY reimagines a familiar moment of inspiration.

Beneath the tree, surrounded by books, maps, and instruments of thought, the expected symbol of discovery rests nearby. But instead of reaching for the apple, attention turns to something sweeter.

The vivid pink donut breaks through the monochrome scene, shifting the moment from scientific revelation to simple pleasure.

Part of the DESIRE BEHIND series, this work explores the tension between intellect and instinct, discipline and indulgence — and the idea that not every discovery has to change the world.
