SWEET RELIEF — No. 06

SWEET RELIEF imagines a moment of comfort in the midst of unrest.

Marked by intensity, isolation, and inner turbulence, the figure pauses not for greatness, but for relief. The vivid yellow donut breaks through the monochrome scene, becoming more than indulgence — a small act of consolation, softness, and survival.

Part of the DESIRE BEHIND series, this work explores the human need for comfort beneath struggle, and the quiet beauty of reaching for sweetness when the mind is unsettled.
